| RE: Virginia Yorkie Meetup in July OK.. I am going to toss this out there and see if there are any bites. We are THINKING about going to the meetup in Alexandria Virginia in July. We are definitely going to take our 32 foot motorhome that sleeps six so we can take the dogs. In an effort to try to save a little money, we are wondering if there is anyone in California or Arizona (or maybe Denver area) who is wanting to go and bring thier furbabies and would be willing to share gas expenses? IF we decide to do this, we would most likely be stopping in KC as well to pick up one more person. Mike and I are easy to get along with and the motorhome is lots of fun and roomy. The trip would take about 4 days, but what fun! We would be stopping at KOAs along the way which are very pet friendly and have all the ammenities for only around $30 per night. OK.. so now that I said it, any bites?

| Hi Brodi's mom. We are going top be travelling from California to Virginia so we are looking for someone from the west coast who would like to go. OK.. to post a thread, you first select FORUMS from the menu that is right below the yorkie picture at the top of every page. Then you click on the forum you want to post in, then there will be a link on the left that says NEW THREAD. just click on that to post a new thread. To change your username, you will need to send a PM to ADMIN. In the upper right by your username there is a link that says private messages. Click on it and it will take you to your mail box. On the left side look for the link that says SEND A NEW MESSAGE. click on that then in the TO box type Admin, THEN TYPE YOUR REQUEST TO change your username and then click send. ADMIN will answer you and tell you what you need to do. Sonya

Sunnie, what a thoughtful and generous person you are. What a road trip you are going to have. This is one time I wish I lived in California - cause I'd surely hook up with your family for the ride east. Untill you tell me that you have met your passenger quota, I will watch your post and help keep it bumped up until you tell me to stop.png | |

| Thanks Cindy! I am going to post a link to this thread in the meetup thread too. Hopefully we will get some takers.I also wanted to add: We would also be open to the idea of someone wanting to go one way with us and then fly home. If that were the case, then we would be travelling down to Florida on our way home instead of coming straight back. Of course, if you wanted to travel to Florida and can spare the time, you would be more than welcome taking in the entire round trip that way too. We are open to suggestions and ideas. I mean we could also be stopping at Disney World. I have some family in Florida and want to stop near Jacksonville for at least one day. I would love to hear any other ideas.

| We would also entertain the idea if someone lived say in Texas and wanted to fly one way to California. We could leave from here, go to Virginia, head straight south to Florida, spend a few days there, then head west again and drop you off at home. Just an idea and we are open to others

| I think that would be so much fun as long as there were no other men except your hubby. May be a little uncomfortable. I am really considering your offer now.

Oh it will be fun! We ARE trying to get my Dad to go with us. He is 78. He was born and raised in the Baltimore area and his sister passed this summer and he wasn't able to go back for the funeral. So we want to take him to see her grave, then it looks like we will be more than likely heading down to Florida to see my brother and wife (just a day), then across Texas and spent a day meeting up with some Texas members, then head back home. All in all, we will probably be gone for about 2 weeks. so please take that into consideration.
