I am in need of a roommate from late thursday to early sunday morning. my flight doesn't get in until 11:30 pm and leaves at 6:20 am. if anyone don't mind sharing a room even if it is for a night. we can slept cost for whatever night. but after going thru my finances it doesn't look like i will be able to afford the cost of the hotel room alone.

I still have my offer of staying with Anne and Jim in the RV at the RV Park but i want to make this as convenient for everyone as I can. Thanks.

Everyone is just so busy with all the little details with the hotel, and scheduling that posting a list would be sort of a waste of time for the planning committee. However, I think that it would be a GREAT idea to have a list for those people arriving earlier than everyone else. Maybe since it was your idea you wouldn't mind spearheading a thread for just such a list? That way only people who want to can post, no one's privacy is invaded, the planning committee can smooth out the final details without worrying about getting everyone's permission to post their info, and members can meet up with their YT friends when they get to Alexandria?

If it wouldn't be too much of a bother I think that it would be a great idea! You could just post a link on here, or in your signature so that everyone can find it. What do you think?

For some of us who live in the area, we are going to be at the Yappy Hour at Hotel Monaco between 5pm - 6:30 pm, then we will be doing the Canine Cruise at 7pm. Just look for the Yorkies!! I am only bring 1 of three.

Great news, a voluntary cell phone list is in the works, with the blessing of our fabulous Meet Up chairs!

I will post additional info in a new "Cell List" thread within the International MeetUp Forum, and registrants will receive a PM from me within the next week.

I'm sorry you think it is a waste of time

My biggest interest is seeing a full list of names in who is attending - it helps. Last year, we had a continuous ongoing list of who was coming, provided by the planners when people signed up. The organizers DO know who is coming - and I want to know who too - so i can be paying attn to those folks on YT.

What I'm saying, and perhaps I said it incorrectly, is that the meet-up team is a little stressed right now due to a few glitches that have to be straightened out in the few days left to the meet up. I would rather their time be spent on doing the things that can't be accomplished by anyone else, instead of compiling a list that wouldn't be hard for any YT member to accumulate if they really wanted it, simply by starting a thread. It appears that someone already has if you care to read back a couple of posts. So really, that matter at this point is null and void. I'm sorry if I stepped on any toes. Thanks for all the concern on the matter.

FYI It looks like everyone that wants to go on the Canine Cruise on Thursday evening at 7 pm is responsible for making their own reservations.
