| I have only had experience on the buyers' side of this issue, but I completely agree that that women should not have a yorkie. Anyone who condones her kid dropping a puppy should never own an animal. I could be more mean, but I am not gonna be .

| You know if I were you I would let that lady plead and beg for a million years and I would in no way sell her a puppy. I just do not feel that yorkies are like other dogs and really babies and so fragile. I would be extremely of anyone with small children unless I knew them very well and had excellent references and even visited their home to see how the children did around animals. I believe if you start when children are young teaching them about animals they will learn the right way to be around them but if you don't feel in your heart that this lady had taught her children then you are doing the right thing and not selling her any puppy at all. Stick to your guns! If the lady does not like it I would just tell her well too bad!! |

| I agree with everything thats already been said. When I was searching for a yorkie I had plenty of breeders tell me that they didnt sell to homes with young children and I wasn't offended at all. Breeders have a responsibilty to their puppies just as much as I have a responsibilty to teach my children to treat animals with kindness and respect. xxx

|
Well I do like the comment about telling her I just don't feel comfortable. I don't have any puppies available right now.. This is true... they are simply still incubating LOL... Oh for the 600$ price tag- too pricey??? you have got too be kidding. LOL . ![]() You should have told her that she might be able to buy a yorkie mix for that. $600.00 is a super price IMO If I could have bought 4 of yours for what I paid for one of mine J/k I woudn't give my baby up for the world!
no, you really couldn't have bought four of mine. LOL I usually don't sell them this cheap. This little guy was returned to me at my "insistence" and is driving me mad. I have two girls in heat. LOL |

| you know i completely agree that its not a good match and you just telling her no that its not going to work out is doing your job as a breeder. As for when your ad comes out I would just say to her "Ma'am I am sorry but as a breeder it is my job to find safe homes for my puppies and I worry about little children around such small puppies. I would never ask for something bad to happen to the puppies, but children love to play rough and they could hurt the puppy very easily. I am sorry but I will not sell a puppy to you" And you completely have the right to say that too, what if the children were playing with the puppy and ended up seriously injuring the puppy? That would be terrible to hear.

| Tha't just depressing to hear. You should have told her where the closest Toys r us was or the closest build a bear. That way she would have had exactly what she wanted!
