| Camera flash/eye color? I (think I) remember reading somewhere that the eye color, or flashlight reflection color, of their eyes indicates ???? about their future hair color? I was wondering ... does anyone know what I'm talking about? |

| I looked at my pictures and the center circles of her eyes are blue in the flash. The outer part of her eye doesnt seem to reflect much.

I wonder though, is coat texture passed down from their parents?

| This is my experience, and my experience only. Amber or an orange color--reflects a wirey or wooley coat Blue--reflects a silky coat Green--reflects a multi coat No reflection or brown means---undetermined ** love any debates....or personal findings! *** but coat does not determine personality, so if you are looking for a pet yorkie, dont stop there. |

| I'm not sure about all of that, but every picture that I have of Krissie. She looks like a green eyed monster. Her eyes are SOSO green! I don't care how her coat turns out as long as she is healthy and happy! Peace and Love,

| I really don't buy into the whole eye color thing or atleast don't believe it to be completely accurate. I do believe it all has to do with angle and lighting. If I remember correctly, awhile ago on YT a photographer proved this as well. I can't remember what the thread was called though, I will have to see if I can find it sometime. I have pictures of the same yorkie on the same day taken with different lighting and angling and they eye color shine was different many times from blue, to green, to yellow, to orange. Here is an example.... These pictures are of my Harmony. She has a true silky coat and you should be able to tell from the pictures. These pictures where taken the same in the same room but with different lighting and different angles. Picture One: Yellow Picture Two: Orange Picture Three: Green Picture Four: Blue

| Here is another example... This is Destiny and Harmony. Again, both have the same exact type of coat, they are mom and daughter. Picture One: Harmony's eye color is orange/yellow, Destiny's is green Picture Two: Harmony's eye color is green, Destiny's is yellow Picture Three: This is Destiny with yellow eyes Picture Four: This is Destiny with green eyes, only difference, the angle of her head I have several other pictures like these where the colors change only from lighting and the angle of the camera or dog's head. Now if the eye color flash is suppose to determine the texture of the coat then it shouldn't change from picture to picture.

| My eyes are usu red in pictures -- and I have big ol eighties' hair (without any hairspray or styling. It's just super fluffy/wavy). I don't even remember the 80s (due to age, not drugs ) but I get those comments all the time. Hehe MyTrixie143 -- Harmony and Destiny are SO beautiful. They are clearly very much loved and very well-taken care of. The pictures series is really instructive
