Was Biddy not a standard colored puppy? I'd LOVE to see some of her puppy pictures! (no matter what color she was!)

| She's actually a Yorkie/Jack Russell mix, but she looks like a red yorkie to me! Here are some pictures of her when she was younger - but not a puppy-puppy - I didn't get her until she was 6 months. I'll have to get some baby pictures from my mom (she had her until I took her).

She is REALLY cute! I would never have guessed she had Jack Russel mixed in. Now that I know, maybe just a tad bit to the shape of her pretty little face. She's adorable! Thanks for posting the pictures!

| Your puppies are ADORABLE. I have one question though. I am new to the site and did not know that some yorkies are this color? I have seen that several of you have Yorkies this color. I was reading and it says that only blue and tan and some other color was acceptable for a yorkie. Are dogs this color a mixed breed or are they still pure yorkies? |

Mine are purebred. As Biddy's mom said, Biddy is mixed with a Jack Russell. There is one other Red/Golden Yorkie on here and she is purebred also. There are, however, chocolate Yorkies on here too (and VERY cute). In addtion, there are parti colored Yorkies. The red/chocolate colors in the Yorkie are a color anomaly. A rare occurrence. It is an overload of the red genes. It may not affect all of the pups in the litter. Mine had 2 standard and 2 that weren't standard. I have seen other litters have some chocolate and some standards. Trust me, it came as quite a surprise! I am waiting to hear from AKC as to what color they will call my pups. I am really hoping they will accept the litter, there is no guarantee. Of course, there is no guarantee even if they are all standard color (that is what the Registration Form informs you of). And thank you for saying they are adorable. I am enjoying them sooooo much!
