I agree if anyone made fun of my buster they would have me to deal with, I don't understand some of these people on this tread making fin of their on pets, I love my boy an I think he is beautiful, I could never make fun of him, hes my son that would be like making fun of my own child. some people I just don't understand but oh well as long as noone makes fun of my boy I am fine. I am new here by the way nice to meet you

amen sister! thats why on long hauls my side kick and best friend is my buster, he doesn't judge anyone or make fun of them he is one ofa kind mans best friend!!!

You know what....I opened up my big mouth yesterday and lashed out at someone perfectly innocent when I was upset about a totally different issue. When I got to the parking lot, I had to ask myself....now where did that mess come from out of you????

I was ashamed all day and night at myself....Sometimes as people we just say the wrong darn thing. Forgive her.

That usually shut them up PDQ! And I always kept a calm manner and didn't attack them. Never once did anyone answer back with another comment. Usually they'd just say they were sorry, they didn't mean to say anything bad. My parting comment would be, if you don't mean anything bad, then don't say anything bad.

I find the best thing to say when people are clueless like that is to calmly ask them, Why would you say that? It nearly always shuts them up.

I just wanted to jump in here and say your baby and my corkie could be TWINS. They look exactly alike, right down to the tongue. I also have so many people make comments about her tongue but luckily no one has said anything mean, because I'm not sure how I would respond...... I just know it would NOT be nice. I am going to try to attach a picture of my cork.

Don't feel bad, he's adorable..I have a german shepherd with one ear up and one down also..some people feel better about themselves when they make someone else feel bad..don't know if I could be friends with someone like that..he's just such a cutiepie

thank you. I think she is gorgeous. She's not show quality and not up to standards. She would of been culled back in the day. ( thank god people rarely do that anymore). She has a bone that sticks out in her chest (xyphoid process), her jaw is malformed and she has no knee sockets. But in my eyes she is absolutely stunning because she loves me without question. She has not left my side for almost 10 years now as I had to leave her and my other two at the time with someone I thought was a reputable breeder and lover of yorkies. Well turns out she was ANYTHING but.........grrrrrrrrr. After my divorce and 4 months away from me, I can't even go to the bathroom by myself. She even used to creep into my shower at the bottom ( old style with only a curtain and small lip in shower) so she could be close to me. I love her endlessly. I lost Lei at Thanksgiving last year and the thought of losing her makes me tear up as I type..LOL This is why I got the Monster Marley in preparation AND I thought it would cheer her up to have a buddy. NOT SO.......LOL she hates him..and he LOVES her ( bite bite bite, play bite bite, play ) She has very few teeth left ( she's 13) and he is a LAND SHARK. Poor darlin is suffering his abuse, but I make sure she gets plenty of time when she does not have to deal with him. I also separate them when I go to work so he does not incessantly bother her and hurt her with those pirahhna teeth!!

Anyways..she is beautiful, just as is Chery's and Teresa M's baby is. . Let me have a moment with that person who dare say something mean to one of them..... They will think twice before doing it again.

Darling, you can vent to me anytime. I think we're all dog lovers here. I have had my share of annoying/mean people too.

Posh. Who cares about standards.. Nobody and nothing was born the way they wanted. To say anyone or anything is ugly or lacking is questioning the work of God, if you believe in God.

And I think, anyone who dares call a dog ugly is a coward or they have a very small heart. They know the dog can't understand/defend themselves. I have no patience for these kind of people. I usually just look at them with disdain in my eyes.. and then leave without a word. I hope they understand that I will not waste a minute of my time with people like them, but well.. I don't expect much from them anyways. They can find and stick with people like themselves. I have my dogs to accompany me.

Your dogs sound lovely.. I have a yorkie and a shihtzu but I want more.

Ya I know what you are saying, I don't care what people say about me, but don't say anything about my kids, hubby and NOT My Furbabies
I was talking to another person I work with and she knows her well and I said " I guess it's because she lives alone" and she said maybe that is why she lives alone

I hate when people say that! I had taken Charlie for a walk one day in this downtown area where there are a lot of shops and restaurants. I usually hold him but the hubby says I need to let Charlie walk or he's going to forget how LOL. We were walking by this table and this woman said "what a cute dog!" Her hubby replied with "what dog? I only see a rat!" I was appalled by how rude that guy was! Jerk.
