| Need advice, PLEASE We found an adorable little puppy for sale that we fell in love with but...her hair is very thin, especially on her feet. The breeder told us that she is 11-12 weeks old and that Yorkie puppies sometimes lose some of their baby hair before their mature coat comes in. Has anyone ever heard of this? Please help us if you know anything about it. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey's hair was thin on the top of his head, with the roots pure white so he looked like he was balding, and this is very common around that time or a little later. I don't remember the feet though. What do you think about the breeder? Is she an experience breeder, does she do health testing, does she offer any guarantees? What do the dam and sire look like, are the good examples of the breed? Silky coats tend to start off looking thinner than cotton coats, but they are so much easier to care for, and seldom mat.
