Donating YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() I took Audrey-Belle to the groomer today and she tried another way to clip her nails. I had been dreading this since last time she cried, tried to get away etc and the groomer wasn't able to finish. This time she cut her nails while she was in the bath A-B still didn't like it but she didn't make a sound or try to run or snap at her. She still wasn't a fan of having her feet trimmed later but the groomer did the best she could. I think she looks great and I am so happy her nails are cut at last. It went MUCH better this time and I am now thinking the next time will be even better. I had thought of buying one of those nail things I saw on TV but thought it would be wasted money after the way she acted at the groomer last time. I figured she wouldn't let me do it either. She doesn't always let us touch her feet and if she's upset about anything at all the deal is off, you may NOT touch her feet. I asked the groomer about the nail tool and she showed me the one she had. It was a "Professional" grade tool of course, and she told me she wasn't to happy with her investment since so far only three dogs would let her use it on them. Glad I didn't buy one.

| ![]() I feel your pain, I have really prolonged getting Fiona groomed because she is out of control when it comes to cutting her nails, brushing matts out, or just holding her still. I FINALLY got to trimming her nails about a month ago- I literally had to sit on her to get them cut- she even worked herself up that she pooped, but i got the job done. This past Friday we did it again, and it took me about 5 min rather than 20 min...sometimes you gotta let them know that your the boss, and not them!!!!!
