I kiss her a lot, and it grosses my friends out (if they are at my house, or hear me doing it over the phone). I don't know how I ended up with a group of friends who don't like dogs.

Anyway, on the subject of kissing. A dog shows affection by licking you. I often wonder if they understand this pressing of the lips to their faces, bellies, paws.

I do it, but it seems that Maya and Mika both just sort of "tolerated" it. Like oh here some comes doing that THING again. I don't think they really understood that it was a form of affection from me. Now if I couple to kisses with sweet talk interspersed between kisses they took it a little better.

I love to kiss her so much, it's a miracle she still has fur on her face, expecially when she's all clean and smelling like baby powder perfume.

Humps is my first pet so im still getting over the yuck factor. I don't really kiss him. BUT i've taught him to give eskimo kisses on command, and he loves when i rub my nose against his little button one.

I can't imagine how many I give Teddi. I know it starts in the morning because she just looks so cute when she wakes up so I know I give her a lot of kisses in the morning. Plus she can't get off the bed so while I am getting ready she is usually standing at the end of the bed with her paws on the footboard railing so every time I walk by to get something I kiss her. Plus I like to kiss her a bunch until she gets mad at me and then I tell her "momma can kiss you whenever she wants" and then I hold her up and make her give me a kiss! LOL

I bet I kiss Chloe at least 75-100 times per day! She loves it too.

Ditto... I give my little furbaby tons of kisses each day (too many to count) and my husband also gets annoyed and says you give her more kisses then you ever gave me during our whole relationship. I told him if he was small and furry, I'll give him just as many kisses.
