| Question about breeding small dogs.. Someone told me, the more times a female ties with a male the more puppies she will have. Is that true or was they making that up? Do they need to tie more than once? I have been just wondering that. I raise big dogs, but am wanting to start raising yorkies. I dont watch to see how many times my big dogs tie. So I didnt know if I would need to with small dogs. |

If you plan on breeding small dogs you can not let them breed without assisting....you can't just put two dogs together and leave them alone...it's very much a hands on situation......that and other things need to be considered when breeding yorkies......

I would do lots of reserch before breeding any breed, big or small. The toy dogs are more prone to whelping problems, among other things. Also the female determines how many puppies, the male detemines the sex of the puppies. Best of luck!!
