I have been just wondering that. I raise big dogs, but am wanting to start raising yorkies. I dont watch to see how many times my big dogs tie. So I didnt know if I would need to with small dogs.
No to your first question.....whether it be small dogs or big dogs....the number of ties does not determine the number of pups they will have.

If you plan on breeding small dogs you can not let them breed without assisting....you can't just put two dogs together and leave them alone...it's very much a hands on situation......that and other things need to be considered when breeding yorkies......
