| ![]() Thinks for all the help guys! I think I'm going to email and just ask if this pup is a splitter. I have found lots of wonderful Biewer websites, just not any in my area. Right now, I am just enjoying my Harley whom I've only had for a couple of months but I eventually want to get him a friend! Jeri and Harley ![]() |

| ![]() To all of you that helped me with this thread, I just wanted to let you know that I did email the seller and ask if this baby was a splitter pup. She didn't know what "splitter" meant but told me the breeder labeled this pup as an F2 Biewer. Said dad is full biewer and that mom was gold, I'm assuming black and gold. Also said that if this pup was bred with another biewer that it would produce full blooded biewers? Not sure how that is genetically possible! Jeri and Harley ![]() |

The term splitter is a commonly known term in the biewer world.

some do not understand that a biewer is still a yorkie....just that they carry the pie bald gene....if you have their DNA done it still comes up yorkie.... also the gold that was mentioned may be the golden gene carrier....

she should not advertise him as a biewer without saying that he is a splitter. is she a broker? she said she is not the breeder? brokers are not a good thing.. but it might be a great puppy.. i would go see for sure in person ![]()

Really Ceasar? And I am sorry but who told you this? The breed origin, Germany, still to this day registers by color, not by biewer to biewer breedings. Look to the registry history from Germany. Just because people in here is the US decided to change the whole concept on what a biewer is doesn't mean it so. The picture I seen is no Biewer, sorry. I have to agree with everyone else it might be a F2 as explained in other posts or as the breeder responded to the question.
