| ![]() Congradulations on your new Yorkie! My BD was Oct.3 , very close to yourse, but, I am much older.. You had a good list started for your new yorkie. I believe you have brought her home by now. How are things going? I think it will just take some time to bond and give lots of love and praise. Your little one will need to feel secure in her new home which can take some time. Plenty of attention and spending time will help you Yorkie out, and feel confident. I got mY Suzi when she was A baby, so I do not have suggestions for rescues of older Yorkies. 2 yrs. old is still young, and i believe she will adjust well! ![]()

| ![]() in replying seeing that you already got ur baby! But happy birthday! And don't worry about your baby not being attached to you, i got my first girl at 2 years old and i was afraid of the same thing... turns out she's my shadow! It took some time, extra lovin and treats of course! But i always beleive a thumb rule is have them sleep in your bed the first few nights...it helps alot! I did think with my puppies too! well they were tiny so they couldn't get up on the bed but i slept on the floor...some might think it's funny...don;t laugh but it worked for me anyways! Best of luck... yorkies are truly god sent! god backwards...= dog!
