| Board or leave at home alone? Me and the hubby are thinking of going away for a weekend (fri-mon). Should we board Millie or do you think she would prefer to be in her own house with my mum or sisters coming in to see her three or four times a day? I could let her stay at my mums but I afraid she would get out and run away, so its either boarding or stay at home.

| I think mine would prefer to be at home! They would be confused because I'm gone so I think I'd rather them be in their own house for comfort. Would your sister stay at your house with them. Or maybe at least spend the nite there with them? Have fun on your weekend!

| I would prefer mine stay home. I dont know any reputable boarders and even still, I just dont trust anyone that I dont know very well with my dogs. I once babysat my mother in law's chihuahua and she is a very nervous dog. She would not come out of her blanket hardly at all. She even pee'd in it because she was too scared to come out of it. I also had to hand feed her canned food to get her to eat...she was a mess! So I guess for the sake of not stressing your dog too much, to leave her home and have some family come and check on her a few times a day.. |

| My sisters are only 9 & 11, so they couldnt stay on their own. Not sure if my mum would stay. Goodness knows how I am going to feel about my next week, or 2 week holiday!
