| ![]() I think dogs from either breed can have a wide variety of personalities. I have seen that the puppies from my litters tend to get their personalities from their fathers. Tobi's puppies tend to be more shy, timid, and hang back. Murphy's puppies are clingy and possessive of their human. The loudest one here is a large toy poodle! Next is a Biewer girl. All of my yorkies are splitters, so I don't know if they are a good indication. One of these girls you hardly ever hear, but I have a Biewer aunt to this girl that is the same way. |

I agree ![]() my splitter is different because he was raised somewhere else until 10 weeks then introduced to the pack.. but he has attained status in the pack as the man of the house. ![]() ![]() he thinks he is the watcher on the wall.. he does bark loudest at 3 am for no apparent reason ![]() i think they are just like the yorkies only cuter and more colorful... ![]() all with diff personalities ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() I own both biewer's and yorkies. The Biewers are indeed more clingy. I have one that just loves to stand on my lap and hug my neck. And yes...the Biewers tend to bark more. Sometimes it seems that they bark for the sake of barking. IMO, the Biewer's are the clowns of the dog world. Thier main concern in life is playing and having fun. The yorkies are much more "busy". Always seem to have an agenda. Even if it's just patrolling the fence line. It's like a job for them. |

| ![]() I have 2 toy senior toy poodles, 2 yorkies and 1 biewer girl and I have to say my biewer girl barks or whines more than the other 4. She is also a little more clingy. I agree with the description of the yorkies acting like they are on patrol. That is definitely what mine do. My biewer will do the patrol thing, but loses interest in it quickly and then comes to sit by my feet or in my lap. It might just be personality differences but my biewer just likes a little more attention then the other dogs and the little clown knows how to get it too. She is still young so maybe it is that she hasn't finished training me yet, lol. ![]() |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() My 4 Biewers and 1 yorkie and 1 havanese all are loud when the doorbell rings or when I walk in the door. Bailey and Itzi compete for Alpha male status so they frequently have a bark-off..... |
