I own both biewer's and yorkies. The Biewers are indeed more clingy. I have one that just loves to stand on my lap and hug my neck. And yes...the Biewers tend to bark more. Sometimes it seems that they bark for the sake of barking.
IMO, the Biewer's are the clowns of the dog world. Thier main concern in life is playing and having fun.
The yorkies are much more "busy". Always seem to have an agenda. Even if it's just patrolling the fence line. It's like a job for them.
