I let my 10 week old Sumo lick me as much as he wants haha but every owner has their own comfort zones. I agree with the "in the mouth" thing though. if you love kisses let him him lick you on your face. buuuuut squeeze your lips together!!! you dont want to get sick too!!!

You are not a hard heart, I dont let Izzy kiss me in the face or mouth either. I love him to death but I just cant watch him lick his butt, eat stuff off the floor then kiss me in the mouth.

Suzi is a kisser.. She loves to lick faces , ears , you name it. she does not have worms. My son lets her, and i do for a few seconds. She has limits, LOL

I wonder how many people do this.....

Anyway, I hope you listen to your vet and the others that have posted here. It's nice when pets lick us and show how much they love us but, not when they're battling tapeworms.

OMG! Does anyone watch The Office on NBC??? The season permiere was last night and Kelly was on the tapeworm diet!! Crud gave it to her, and she mentioned it was from Mexico, so it can eat all her food and she'll lose weight. She also said after 3 months when she's lost weight she just has to go to the doctor to be treated. I couldn't believe it lol I can't wait to go to class on Monday and tell me professor about it lol

Bobby loves to give kisses. But he doesnt give face kisses. Only on the hands, arms and toes... I am not crazy about the toes but I love the rest!

It's terrible because part of me can't stand the thought of letting Bella kiss my mouth (because she has her mouth on bully sticks, poop/pee, who knows what else!) but I can't deprive her of a quick kiss. I think it's sweet that she wants a kiss....sometimes she puts her little paw on my chest leans in and kisses me (on the lips) super quick and then is off to play again! It's so cute!! Other times, especially if I've been out of her site for a few minutes or a few hours (it really doesn't matter how long)...she wiggles all over and wants to kiss, kiss, kiss!! She's wiggling and bouncing so much she snorts!! lol She kisses my ears or chin as much as she wants, but she LOVES lip kisses....I only let her kiss me on the lips once at a time, though. I don't want to be drowned in puppy saliva, and I don't want her to think it's ok with everyone--some people really hate it, and I don't want them to hate her because of it!
