| Sorry to ask this but was she paid in full?? Sounds llike a scam to me.. got your money and then tell you that it ran away.. if the breeder is the one who lost it they should send you another one or reimburse your money back... alot of time this happens and it is just a scam.. Hope in your case it is not.. Good Luck.. |

And the number one thing you missed. Daisy was found hiding in one of the airport parking lots. She managed to get a small scratch on her back but was checked out and everything else was fine. Her flight was rebooked and she made it to her new home and is doing great and getting to know all her new Yorkie friends | |

| I think you are off on that one. Responsible breeders of all breeds do ship dogs. Dogs are also shipped to other breeders for breeding purposes to breed to a champion of other desirable Stud. |

YT 1000 Club Member | I see, I didn't know for sure. Had read different opinions and posts on it. But I'm sure there are lots of different circumstances in which shipping is needed. We did have a puppy shipped once a long time ago and all went fine. He came from someone my hubby knew for a long time. Didn't mean to sound offensive but when some were talking about a possible scam it just brought that question to mind. Thanks for the info. |

| I can only speak for the experiences I have had. Neither one of the breeders I have had the pleasure of dealing with would ship them unaccompanied. There is just too much that can go wrong. Just my experience and my opinion. I travel with my furkids and carry with me a little emergency kit just in case we have any issues such as low blood sugar. I know there are many breeders that ship dogs alone. I just wouldn't feel comfortable with it. I am glad to hear that the dog is adjusting to her new home and is healthy. I can't imagine how horrible it must have been to have her lost. |

| Glad to hear the dog made it okay! I'm confused though. The breeder took it to the airport to ship it to you, so you could ship it to someone else? That seems like a lot of stress on the puppy. I am glad to hear that the pup is doing well though! |

| I can clear that up. I bought the dog for my sister and it was being shipped to her and not me. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I personally will never ship one of my puppies but then I like them close by so they can come to our reunions every year.
