| Please tell me how........ my furbabies can look soooo different? I have seen other people's babies-and alot of them look like one or the other of mine. My dh thinks Ace is part yorkie part rat . But I will post lots of pics and you tell me how they could both be AKC yorkies and look SSSOOO different. Ace is VERY petite-Lizzie is not. Don't mind Lizzie's crazy hairdo-I had her body shaved because we were working on leash training and it was AT LEAST 100 degrees here daily for awhile and she would get sooo hot. I figured-oh well-it will grow back. Ace has a much thinner coat-while Lizzie's is VERY thick. This is so crazy-but-they are definately my lovelies ! Tell me what you think-it is so bizarre! First pics are all Lizzie.

| I think Lizzie is as cute as can be...Ace too! I will demonstrate to you why they look so different... Both Kyle and Tanner are rotton smart-alec boys, that need an attitude adjustment...but look how different they look! Just kidding...I think every yorkie looks different than the next...if you put Zoe/Peppee/Brady up against one another, they all three look nothing alike...which isn't saying much for Brady seeing as though he is their offspring.

| Apples and Oranges? I have 3 AKC. full blooded Yorkshire Terriers and not one of them look like each other they are similar and have the same traits but they are completely different?I think that's what is so amazing and special about each and every one of them! Artie is short and stocky, Abigail is long, thin and delicate, Pom Pom is small, compact and quick. They all have erect ears, but Abigail's looks like Bat ears compared to Artie & Pom Pom's. They are all Silver and Blonde but Artie's hair is thick, dull and wavey, Abigail's is straight, soft and shiney, Pom Pom's barely grows and is straight dull and short. Even the Yorkie's I seen in person on a rare occasion, not one of them has ever looked similar to any of mine? In fact, not one Yorkie I've ever seen looked has ever looked exactly alike. My Sister has 2 Yorkies that look completely different as well as my Neighbor that has 2 Yorkies that are Sisters from the same Litter, that look like they're NOT even related. Even Pom Pom that is Artie & Abigail's daughter does'nt even look like them, by looking at her you would'nt know that she is? It's like comparing Apples to Oranges. |

| I know what you mean about not looking alike-and how special that makes them. But is not the goal of let's say-show dogs-to conform and look just a certain way. I mean really-their noses are different, their ears for sure, their eyes, their coat, definately their size (which is somewhat funny). Just funny how dogs of the same breed can look so different. It is quite fascinating. My dh still isn't sure that Ace isn't part rat though !

| They are adorable!!! Thanks for sharing their pics with us! Shelby and Seymour look different also. Shelby has a short nose and BIG round eyes. Seymour has a longer pointy nose and his eyes look closer together because of the longer nose. Shelby hair isn't as silky as Seymour's. Their ears are different also, Shelby's are closer together and high on her head..... Seymours are set a bit lower. ........ when people see them, they always ask if they are brother and sister..... which they are..... they have the same Mom. They do look alike... I guess I just notice all the neat little differences in them.... and love all those unique things that they each have.

| I know!! My first yorkie (RIP Shorty) looked nothing like Otis. I have a yorkie and a shih poo and people actually think they are the same breed because they are both black and about the same size. Of course, they look nothing alike to me, other than being black, but I know what you mean! Here are my boys, and people think they are REAL brothers!!
