| Male Yorkie not interested this time Hi I have my ch. AKC male that has been a stud to several different females. He recently tied up with one of my other girls as well several times! My problem is that I have another ch. female that has been in heat. I have tried from the 9th-12th(today) and he is not interested at all. He sniffs a few times and is just like "whatever" LOL. So... I used my other tiny male and he has tied up at least 3 times with her. I just don't understand why my tried and true is not interested in her. They have never mated before but stay in the same bedroom together so they get along great. As for health issues, he is fine. No issues. He is healthy, utd, and as I said just last week tied several times with my other female. I have also studded him out many times with no problem. I also noticed her move her tail for my other male very frequently. Any suggestions or experienced advice would be greatly appreciated. Please no info on checking his health, as that is fine. I have tried for 4 days now with him. Thanks

| Ok, so I know this may sound odd, but maybe she just isn't his type. Since they spend so much time together, could he simply not see her in a "romantic" way. I've worked for many horse breeding farms and trust me when I say horses absolutely have preferences. Had one stallion that did not like mares with spots, like Paints or Appaloosas. One that really loved the palominos. So I'm thinking it could be possible for dogs to have a similar preference.
