This past spring I was walking Maxi when one teenager came around and asked if she could take few pictures of my dog. I saw her walking around before with the camera taking pictures of trees,plants etc. So I ask what is it for, how you gonna use that photo. She then said its for the project for school, and she had to take photos of animals but didnt have any at home. So I said sure you can take few pics
If someone stops me and asks to take a photo of my dog, believe me I am gonna ask what is it for. If they hesitate to answer they are up to no good. This is regarding strangers overall. People that take pics on meetups are different. We take pics of other babies to send those pics to the owners

When I was visiting Carmel, CA w/c is very Pet Friendly and we were Sight Seeing in Pebble Beach, Japanese Tourist were taking pictures of Artie.
I walk around our Neighborhood Lake in fact I met my first YTer in person -
Sissy & Angel's Mom that was visiting her Son (I got Lucky!) and there is a
new Shopping area w/upscale Stores & Restaurants w/alot of Tourist driving
and walking through. They set up alot of Benches & Rocking Chairs to Lounge
on and hang out. We usually sit and rest, sometimes I have all 3 of my Yorkies
in clothes and if they are Dressed we all wear color coordinated outfits that match each other. I get asked all the time on a daily basis by total strangers
to take picures. I always agree and give them permission if they ask?
In fact I even give them a specific command while their taking their pics. I always say "Look Cute" and they all pose and tilt their heads to the side and look into the camera. Unless they are some weirdo and I get an odd feeling
then I just ignore them and walk away!

People ask to take pictures of mine all the time, some don't even ask but i let them anyway. I think the majority of them are so amused at their size and how cute they are that they want to save the pics to show other people, a lot of people have never seen dogs this small. So i think that is the reason, people love having pictures of nice things. A lot of tourists also come here and take pictures to remember their trip. Take it as a compliment

I must admit there is a pic you posted w/your girls in the pink playpen & I thought they were adorable in it, I can't remember which one it is (her name) but that biggest little girl of yours is so precious & I love her color & face so much that I printed that pic of them in the playpen b/c if there's ever a day I get another one I would love for her to look JUST like her! everyone I have ever met when i've got regan w/me goes crazy! I think it's just something about these little darlings! I take it as a compliment but I always err on caution too esp w/someone I don't know.

Well, I once asked a woman at Petsmart if I could take a picture of he little guy. I had Pebbles with me and we were looking for a second furbaby and this little guy was so cute! But I didn't just pop out of a bush and take a picture

He looked just my daughter "dream yorkie" would look like and she was not with me. So I asked if I could take a picture of the little guy with my camera phone and she laughed and agreed. We talked a little more and I asked who the breeder was and she told me that he came from PETLAND! Oh well, that was enough for me and I didn't ask any more questions after that.

Those that have taken pics of Hot Rod have been acquaintances of friends so that hasn't bothered me. But while I have been on vacation, I have asked if I could take pictures of others pets, and sometimes even people, if we'd had shared some experience. What I mean is, we met some folks at dinner once night in Florida and it turned out that they were from MD and frequented some of the same hangouts as we did. Small world. I would like to be asked first though as I have asked first. The reason I do it is to remember the vacation or trip.

I have never had anyone take a picture of max but my sis was on her way home with macy and called me 15 minutes later. a man had asked if he could take macys picture and my sis said yea then thought about it a few minutes later and called me freaking out. she said what if this man makes fliers with macys picture and says its his dog and she was lost or stolen and people come after me?? I never thought of that and i guess she would be ok because she has papers on her but they are at home not in her pocket lol
