| New to yorkies and looking for a puppy. Hello. I have always loved this breed. My husband and I are now ready to adopt a female. However, as I search breeders, etc. I am mystified at the difference in prices (800.00 on up to 3,000.00). We currently have two Ragdolls and when I was looking for them I didn't notice this huge difference in prices. I have located what I think to be a good breeder and her price is 1500.00. Meanwhile, I am hearing from other breeders who are asking 800.00. I understand that perhaps you would pay top dollar for a show dog. Would someone take the time to explain the differences in price? Size? Breeding? I am leery of the ones who are offering the lowest price. Thanks and I look forward to your responses and more on this forum. |

| Hi there, I am sure you will get opinions from everyone, but I would like to say that I have a litter of male puppies and I am asking 1000.00 each for, one is sold already and still have one aval. I have seen yorkies for much higher and lower, however My price is based on size and color along with structure and history of dam and sire. I have both parents and know there background. Some yorkie puppies are much cheaper because they are massivly produced and some are just litters from a stud service. I would adivise you do talk to breeders on the phone to get a feel for them and most important you must go with your heart, I always say "purchase yorkies for quality, not price" I hope this helps!
