				   | I just looked in our Sunday paper for fun, at the prices for Yorkies! I was very surprised to find they are only asking 300.00-500.00, and only 1 for 800.00. All were AKC babies and most with parents on site! This certainly wasn't the price when I was looking for a second baby. A few years ago you couldn't find one for under 800.00 around here. Guess it goes to show how the economy is in the pooper.

				   | The other day I was looking in the paper and I found Biewers that were $350!!! If I had the room for another, I would have so jumped at the chance!

				   | I know, I can't believe it. I decided I can't have more than 2 cause I only have 2 arms to love on them. When I dogsit and I have 3 dogs it gets hard to dole out the attention equally. Don't want to leave anyone out!

				   | I would check them out very carefully before getting one of them. Some may be good, but a lot of those I have seen are very poorly bred looking yorkies. Just be sure you see them and the parents and make sure they are legit.

				   | I would hesitate to lay the lower price off on the economy. I'm sure it has something to do with it but more in the sense that more people are breeding to try to make money rather than good dogs being priced lower. The average price has gone down but the average quality has preceded and outpaced it. Lot's of threads nowadays where finding a legitimate breeder is getting harder, but no shortage of newbie's asking breeding questions.
