| ![]() Sounds like he could be needing his anal glands expressed, too. Has he ever had that done? Groomers are supposed to empty them when bathing, but vets also do it. If it gets impacted, you can have serious problems. If your dog ever scoots around, it's most likely the anal glands. As a pet stylist, I found that most people are not aware of this. Anyway, it's worth checking into.

| ![]() I've had to do Suzi's several times she's now 4.1/2 months. Do it with scissors, but it's best to have someone hold him, while you trim his bottie. He will soon get used to it though. Hugs Shirl x x

| ![]() I have a pair of small rounded tip scissors that I use. I think I picked them up at Sally's or Petsmart for under $10. Bowie and Doodlebug are about the same age and I already had him at the groomer for the first time for a very minimal shaping. ![]()
