| Okay, Silly Question. Ben is 14 weeks old, and I noticed that his testicals havent dropped yet. Is this bad?? I dont know when they are supposed to or if they should have already, and if they havent what do I do? I dont plan on breeding him or anything, so I guess that would be the only thing that would be a problem, but I dont want him to get a cancer or anything. So any information about this will be helpful. Thank you!

| I wouldn't worry too much yet. What did the vet say when he had his last check up? If it's not down by the time of his neuter, they will take care of it then. This happens a lot with yorkies or so I've been told. I believe the neuter will be a little more expensive for him. It is important to have it taken care of eventually though, because I believe his risk for cancer is higher.

| He is still young and they can still drop. Has your vet been able to at least feel the 2nd one up there even if it hasn't dropped yet? If so, then you shouldn't have to worry. |

| Well he has a vet appointment this Wed, so I will ask him about it then. He just went 3 weeks ago and the vet didnt say anything was wrong, so that is a good thing. Im just a first time puppy owner in general, so I didnt know when I should expect that to happen, but it does seem like maybe he is too young for it to happen.

| Your vet probably would have said something to you if he had not at least felt that he had two testicles. It is a good idea to ask him about it, but you probably have nothing to worry about. |
