| Ear grooming You are so fortunate to have this site! My first Yorkie was gorgeous but he had a fallen ear and I found out when he was about a year old what I should have done. Just shave 1 inch down from the tip upward towards the tip with and electric hair shaver from Sally's or the pet store. It takes 20 seconds. If you keep the shaver flat you will find it very safe and so easy. My first Yorkie, Mugsie was so very cute but both of his parents were champions and had I known what to do he could have been shown if the ear would have come back up. I loved him to pieces with that little ear though.
