| What do you mean??? Do you mean when will the coat completely change color? Or do you mean when will they get a full length coat??

| The color change and will the texture ever change?He's ten months. Maybe his coat just isn't going to be silky. I was just wandering if it would maybe still change or if he is at that age that he his adult coat already. |

| The color will continue to change but the texture at ten months is likely to stay the same. By this time it is usually silky if it's going to be.

| I agree with CC Kent, the color will change various times over his lifetime. I know my 12 1/2 yr old has a different color now than even a few years ago. But the texture will not change. You usually can tell if a coat is silky or cotton when they are a pup. Many cottony coats are the cute fluffy full coated puppies that everyone loves. But a true silk coat yorkie usually looks like they don't have much hair when they are young, their coat is thinner but fills out with age.
