Pippin threw himself off my bed once, but he's never jumped out of anything like a window before. I'm glad Suki is okay, after reading this I think I'm going to go out and buy Pippin a car seat.

What a big scare! I had a client who's schnauzer got stung by a hornet and it scared him so bad he leaped out of his moving truck! Thank goodness your baby is OK! Carseats and harnesses are great! I have a convertible and my guys LOVE to ride with the top down. I always feel secure that they are safe when hooked in to their carseat

Wow, what a tough lesson to learn. Thank goodness Suki is alright...I'd continue to watch her for awhile to be absolutely certain. Hugs to you my friend and lots of kisses to Suki!!!

Thanks goodness your baby is ok....I know how scary it was for you. Beau also jumped out of my Tahoe window when he was less then a year old. We were waiting for my son to get out of school and Beau jumped out when he saw the kids coming by.....he ran into the traffic, but thank goodness I caught him....he did knock out a tooth, but other than that he was fine. Needless to say, he didn't ride in the car for a long time....!! They don't realize how small they are....they have huge self-esteem...lol...gets them into alot of trouble. Take care...

OH Gosh! I would have had a Heart attack! That was so scary. I'm glad Suki is ok and nothing was broken. I'm making a note to myself, drive with the windows up from now on.

oh god that scared me, so happy she is ok, trust me i know as Rosi did that to me once when she was about a yr old, but i was parked. She landed on her feet and froze thank god. I was so scared also, but she was fine. Hug your little girl !

i AM SO GLAD SHE IS OK- AND YOU TOO!!

I know how scarey that can be- yrs. ago- my cocker puppy jumped out of the car window- we were going supper slow by a lake- boat ramp! He just sat down in the road and looked at me- like- where r u going!!

I know how fast your heart was beating- and then you get the shakes!!

Car seats with harnesses are great but the safest of all is a dog crate. My dogs ride in the car in their crate - I leave it in the car at all times ready to go. Too many horror stories about dogs being killed while people are driving - safety first. I'm so glad your little one is okay.

That is great news though that she is ok...it was definitely a God thing

Give that little angel big hugs for me and I am so sorry that this happened to you guys!

P.S. - I just bought my babies a carseat not long ago and I HIGHLY recommend getting one for Suki. We got the Lookout from G.W. Little - they are FANTASTIC and like a big comfy couch...Tatum thinks it's a bed

And the good thing about them is, the babies can see straight out the window - which my Stedman just loves!
