| My first attempt at Grooming Cooper!!!!! Pictures Well. You all asked for pictures and I got them downloaded today. I entente up last night after church, ( we had a mass said for my beloved Mom) to put him in my lap and try to work on the rest of him. I have a very humane muzzle that I had to use but he settled right down and I held him in my lap and talked to him. I don't use the muzzle much at all but I remembered I had it and that he really calms down when I use it. I am not keen on them but one has to do what is necessary sometimes. Any Whoo... He laid in my lap and I just started trimming with the scissors. He didn't fight me only to change positions and that was short lived. I am seeing a really nice "Blue" color in his under coat.. It is not completely evident yet but in his shoulders and hind quarters. I am almost sad to see his black go because I liked the black and gold. but The coat is so much silkier. and tangles less. I can see where brushing is a breeze.... He has his patriotic bow that I just received from Teresa at Diva-Dog Bow Boutique. they are great. My son came and he said he looked really good but he was glad I didn't put Bows in HIS hair when he was little. There are a few long spots where he wouldn't sit still but all in all I think it looks good for the first time. I want to thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. I would have been chicken too do this had it not been for you. HUGs Cheryl l

| WOW it looks like you did a great job. i will get easier as he gets used to it. I now keep mine in full coat, but I had yorkies in the past that I kept in puppy cuts. I just used a scissors and cut it all finger depth. I would do it outside on the picnic table and they never minded it at all. |
