| ![]() Different breeds develop teeth in different ages, i had Yorkies forever and we are used to see teeth coming in as earlier as 4 weeks.... then i got shihtzus.... at 12 weeks they had almost no teeth, and so baby like and not like Yorkie at all.... So i would be careful on jumping on early conclusions about your puppy and at 7 weeks it is just a baby anyways, ' I also believe that the recommendation is to hold the puppies with the mom until at least 8 weeks old no matter what breed it is. I often hold my tiny ones for 12 + weeks and only send them home if i am sure they will be ok. So it varies a lot.... I hope it helped you, but if you are happy with your puppy... and she eats sleeps ... it is very normal for a baby to take many many naps a day ... even at 10 ---12--- 16 weeks old, and they need it in order to be happy and grow it also avoids hypoglicemia. Good luck.

| ![]() I know that Cresteds have a lot of problems with their teeth - I hope you don't think I am saying that to be a smarty pants. But I was watching Elwood on TV the other night and they mentioned that many, many Cresteds have teeth problems and that's why his tongue hangs out to the side. Sometimes they are born with an incomplete set of teeth. This is just FYI. Good luck with your baby and keep us posted. I'm sure she is precious. ![]()

| ![]() Seems like I heard they get cold very easily! If you have experience with crested then I'm sure you know this, but you may want to keep a tshirt or onesie on her till she gets a little older. Hope she does okay. Makes sense to me for her to sleep a lot since she's so young. Good Luck to you. I hope she does well. ![]()
