| Yorkies need their space.... ...or do they?? Since we brought Daisy home, I've confined the puppies to my sunroom, which is about 15x10 and the whole area is incased with xpen panels. The xpen opens into my office, which is the same size, when I am home and can watch them. I take them outside to roam several times per day, always under my watchful eye. I worry that they get bored or stir crazy being in the confined area all day. Am I crazy for feeling that way? I think I am, because I know lots of you live in apartments or confine your pups during work hours and they are perfectly content. I guess I'm just trying to reassure myself that they have plenty of room and variety and aren't bored. |

| My 2 lbs 8oz girl has about 5-6 feet long playing space. She is just fine. I gave her more room but she started regressing in her potty training. She was 100%, then I gave her my whole room, while I was at work, and I would come home to corner poo. So now she is back in her 5 foot play area, with her bed, food, toys and pads. I used to feel bad, but now I'm ok because when I leave she doesn't cry anymore, she just sleeps (I've taken surveilance).

| Brad is spends the day in his crate, and evenings in my home which sounds like it is about the same size as their play area. I watch brad on my home security system while I'm not home, and he seems fine. So I'd personally say as long as they don't show signs of boredom, aggression/eating things they shouldn't, everything is fine. |

| I always wonder about this too. I usually take Gus where ever I go, but if can't take him I will leave him here with my husaband or oldest daughter. And they tell me that he just lays there on the couch or close to the door waiting for me to come home. I wonder if it's the same when the whole family goes somewhere he can't go. I know that when we are home he has to be where ever I am.

| Unfortunately the [img]tag is not enabled on this site by the administrators (WHY????) so here is a link to Brad's Crate. It uploads a new photo every 30 seconds. Although I can log in, and watch live video. I also have sound sensing on this particular cam, so I get an email if he starts barking. http://www.mikebober.com/home/brad.jpg Obviously if he's not in there we are not in the room. |

| I have read books saying not to give your pet too much run of the house too early or they will regress in potting training and obedience training. I know this is true bc my mother has a chihuahua and he had free roam of the house since he was 6 wks. He is 9 yrs. old now and controls the whole family and my parents had to buy new furniture bc of peeing. My Princess is always under my watchful eye. I take her to work with me and she usually stays in her crate there and at home she lays in her bed on our bed. |

I'm feeling better today. I may actually leave the house and see if Brad wants to go meet some girls. | |

| I can only imagine how many women you pick up with little Brad at your side! I had a roommate in Alaska who would take Simon (I didn't have Hallie yet) on "walks for his excercise" with the sole intention of meeting women. Worked every time! You and Brad have fun on your excursion, maybe Brad will meet a smart, pretty, witty, funny girlfriend too |

| I'll admit small dogs help to meet people, but I've never actually gone passed that first meeting with anyone we've met. |
