I have read books saying not to give your pet too much run of the house too early or they will regress in potting training and obedience training. I know this is true bc my mother has a chihuahua and he had free roam of the house since he was 6 wks. He is 9 yrs. old now and controls the whole family and my parents had to buy new furniture bc of peeing. My Princess is always under my watchful eye. I take her to work with me and she usually stays in her crate there and at home she lays in her bed on our bed.
