This person wants to breed her under 3 lbs female:

Wanted: LOOKING FOR MALE TEACUP YORKIE - Los Angeles Dogs & Puppies For Sale - Kijiji Los Angeles, California
Can you help send this person a few more messages other then the ones i've sent already, grrrrr.

I feel knowledge is key here and the more info ppl provide the better off this person will be about NOT breeding a dog this small.

Awe that's so sad, we get a few posts in the breeders forum like this, and when the people find out that they are putting their little girls life as risk, they are horrified. So many just don't know. She's such a little cutie too.

It is very sad, but I'm just not sure why people think its ok to breed dogs without having done any research on it. I mean, wouldn't you want to to make sure your baby is safe?

I think because animals breed in nature all the time, all by themselves, people think there is nothing to breeding. They don't realize that once man domesticates an animal, they are no longer that close to nature, and often need mans help in their survival, and in their reproduction. The breeder who sold this pup should have informed them that no breeding should be done, and maybe she did, but this person thought the breeder just didn't want any competition.

The whole thing could be just a way to get your e-mail addresses as well. You might want to put use an e-mail account that isn't you main e-mail.

Okay this thread is upsetting. Some people think the tinier the better. My little Gidget was 2.2 lbs. and her Mother (she was 2.5 lbs) almost died when she gave birth to Gidget. The individual that sold Gidget to me made me promise to have Gidget spayed and of course my Vet said it was a must! The Male was 3 lbs btw. It wasn't an intentional breeding and Gidget was the only pup she ever had.

I paid $150 for Gidget (almost 16 years ago) and she was AKC registered. I hate to think what one that size would go for today.

Many ethical breeders occasionally get tinies even if they are not breeding for them, and don't sell them for any more than they do their other dogs. Placement is more important, because the tinies do have special needs.

I just sent her an e-mail warning her of the risks of breeding her tiny little girl. It's not worth the risks. Let's hope and Pray that she listens.

yes, this is true. that is how i got bam bam... he is 1 pound 5 ounces at 4 months old... his parents were 4 and 5 pounds though. who knows, maybe he will shoot up?

Done. I've sent her an e-mail trying to convince her out of breeding...I think the "there's a high possibility she could die" is a good deciding factor of to breed or not to breed.

Ignorant BYB's disgust me, but hopefully this person will listen to reason and just get her dog (safely) spayed!
