Actually, sorry to say, that puppy millers and bybrs are not lazy or stupid as they have found the perfect was to stay home and make lots of money. I would have to say they are very callous and uncaring.

Well, most are very lazy when it comes to cleanliness though. But not lazy about making a back or two.(thought I would clear that up)

I have two yorkiepoo puppies
 

I just recieved my second yorkiepoo last weekend from one of my girlfriends who has a white miniature poodle and a black/tan yorkie.
I too would never want one as a designer dog and I would never pay those designer prices. I paid $200.00 each for my two girls who are sister's from two seperate litters, same parents. My first one born 11/07/08 Bella Grace looks like a black yorkie with long hair and a poodle nose. My new litlle girl Lola Shay born 07/13/08 has more the poodle face, ears, and curly hair so far but she is only 7 weeks.
I have asthma and the yorkiepoos don't shed and have not bothered my allergies.
I hope everyone will accept me on this website since my girls are bi-breeds.
They are BEAUTIFUL to me and I love them. As soon as I can find my cable for my camera I will upload pictures to this forum so everyone can meet them.

It is nice to hear from someone else who has a cross bred dog. I love my yorkiepoos!!!!!;)

I consider that price reasonable. It's not that anyone objects to the dogs...it's some of the breeder's practices and the high price tags.

Well, I have a yorkipoo, and I'll be the first to admit that her price was NOT reasonable. I paid almost a thousand dollars for her...but I didn't buy her because she was a "designer dog." I just needed something with the poodle blood--I'm massively allergic, but I'm not a big fan of poodles themselves--and thought she was adorable.

And she is.

I despise those who breed purebred and create mutts and then have the gall to sell them!!!! Then, I despise those who buy these mutts, which is supporting those creeps to just breed MORE mutts! Peek-a-poo, cock-a-poo, puggles, ect, are NOT purebred and others like this, are just mutts! There are MILLIONS of mutts, give a TRUE homeless mutt a home! Do not support these creeps!

There REALLY ought to be a law against so called creeps that claim to be "breeders", from doing this. They are disgusting.

This person seems to despise (hate?) those of us that breed for the Yorkie mix puppies and also she despises (hates?) those who decide that a certain "hybrid" puppy is right for their family. I would be interested to hear how you feel here in this link concerning this e-mail. I agree with hating the way some people raise puppies - but I will not hate the person - bitterness in the heart towards other people only ends up poisoning the spirit and the health of the person who does the hating. I personally think it is very sad. I am not angry at this person, but instead I always feel sorry for someone with this type of hatred in their hearts.

I'm pretty sure it's a YT member. But sad to say you get people like this in every area of life. So it did not really surprise me. I know that when I sometimes post something, I am opening myself up to someone who wants to do something like sending this e-mail. But from being on YT for the short time I have been a member, I know this is not the way most YT members decide to let their feelings be known. There are many many YT posters who express their disagreement with consideration and respect. Thank you to those YT members:thumbup:

i always loved poodles.. and had one as a child... but the yorkipoo can look like a poodle like my lucy.. little black sheep.. but her babies are more yorkielike .. 2nd generation.. i have started a collection :cool:of the different types of yorkipoos...lol...gus is a grizzly bear, :aimeeyorklucy is a sheep,:animal36 and izzy is a mini black yorkie with a white fu manchu beard..:aimeeyork
$1200 is a fair price for the yorkiepoo.. :)but in todays economy , and with all the puppy mill :thumbdowndogs flooding the market.. the price has fallen on most
dogs of all kinds.:animal-pa
$650 sounds like a reasonable price for a healthy yorkipoo:)

i guess you have to mass produce them like the puppy mills to make any money..
with all the vet bills associated with the sick puppies.. i think a healthy yorkipoo IS worth a thousand dollars.. but not from a petstore..
most people dont know about puppymills when they rescue one from a store.. but 99% of dogs in petstores come from mills.
a good breeder will have healthy dogs and keep them until 10-12 weeks.

Okay like I stated I am not for or against "designer dogs". But I really believe that paying $1200 or at least $650 for one is nuts. I would never pay that amount for any puppy that is not purebred. The highest I would be willing to go on a yorkie or any other purebred is $1000 since its would only be a pet. You know some of the stuff you post it really makes me want to choose sides and I would hate to take a stand on something like this since I think yorkieneses are beautiful. This breeder that does this only sale her's for $350 and that is a great price for a good pet. Of course I am not going that route, but if I did that would be the highest I would pay.
