| Newbie to forum..thanks for the entertainment everyone Hi Everyone, I just had my tonsils out yesterday, and as I'm lying here in bed with my little yorkie Selah with me, I've been enjoying reading these message boards in between popsicles. This is the first I've really been stuck in bed for a long time since getting my dog, and she's stayed calmly by my side for the past 48 hours and she never usually holds this still. I think it's true now what people have to say about dogs having that special empathy. Well, I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot, but this looks like a great online community I'm eager to join. I'm sure in the coming days I'll figure out how to get a picture up of my little girl. |

| Welcome, you'll love this place, so many cute babies and so very many friendly people. Hope you are feeling better soon and isn't it wonderful how these little ones just seem to know. Gracie Ruth is only 7 months old, if I lay down to try and take a nap she is bouncing all over me trying to get me to play. If I lay down with a headache she'll lay right down & curl up next to me and be so very still until I get up.

| Photo Upload Attempt #1 Here's my first shot at uploading photos of my baby, named Selah. She's just over a year old, and weighs 4.9 lbs. The first two are more recent, and the third one is right before she got her puppy coat trimmed. Let's see if these attachements made it... |

| Thanks for the warm wishes everyone! My throat is utterly killing me, and I can't even talk, but I can type! Yay for YT! The doctor said things would get worse before they got better, but I'm hanging in there. I'd be feeling really lonely if it wasn't for you all and of course, Selah. :angel2dll: I thought I'd put up another photo of her playing with my other "child" named Sam, an African Grey parrot. Someday I'll have to take a video of the two of them so you can see them in action! This photo just cracks me up b/c it looks like they are about to eat each other! |
