Hi Everyone,

I just had my tonsils out yesterday, and as I'm lying here in bed with my little yorkie Selah with me, I've been enjoying reading these message boards in between popsicles. This is the first I've really been stuck in bed for a long time since getting my dog, and she's stayed calmly by my side for the past 48 hours and she never usually holds this still. I think it's true now what people have to say about dogs having that special empathy.

Well, I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot, but this looks like a great online community I'm eager to join. I'm sure in the coming days I'll figure out how to get a picture up of my little girl.
