| How to combat yorkie jealousy? This question came from my other topic, a lot of people suggested getting a playmate for my baby cuz he might be bored. However, this is not an option for me because chocho has jealousy issues. He would not like other dogs go near me or me touching/holding them. Last year i lived i lived with a roomate who has a small chihuahua. That dog was very cute and clingy, so he would always come sit on my lap. Everytime that dog does that chocho would go beat him up. It's so scary that i have to seperate them or that dog is in serious danger (cuz he doens't fight back). He would also bully that chi and doesn't let him eat. Im so scared that if i get another pup the same thing would happen. I don't want to take the risk. Some advice i've got is that chocho is probably better off being an only child. Any suggestions?

| Do you take him to the dog park to socialize him? That is a great place to bring them and let them make friends. Also depending on your location in Ontario, there might be someone from YT that you can meet up with and your furbaby will get to know other yorkies his size. I did that with Odie and I am very pleased with him. he loves to go to the park. He gets to see all his dog friends and gives me time to enjoy the company of the ladies that bring their dogs to the park.

| He's 2 years old now. The dog park is too much for him, all dogs there are almost 10 times larger than he is. Also there's too much bacteria there and his immune system is not strong enough... but we do go out for walks.
