| deworming question so I'm getting my puppy on saturday and he hasn't been dewormed. I went to our vet and got the deworming medication. I haven't had to deworm a dog in years and since he is almost 9 weeks and hasn't been yet what should i expect? Will I be dealing with spaghetti's? That is all I remember when I fostered a puppy from the pound, tons of worms. I am scared. They haven't seen any in his stool thus far so does that mean I am going to have to deal with a ton? I'm scared, lol. |

| You should ask your vet, where you got it. But there are probably some on here that do it themselves. Me? I prefer the vet do things like that. I'm a coward.

They don't do it they gave me the prescription it's a packet of the medication in powdered form. I have to put it on his food once a day for 3 days. Hopefully he eats it right up. I asked the vet what to expect and they said it all depends. I love the bit of advice they gave me about the other dog and kids not to get sick from possible worms.... Dont' eat his poop. lol. | |
