I think I was setting her up for failure to avoid the confrontation of the crate. She messed in the bed about 5 times altogether, so I went back to square one where I should have been all along. At least she didn't throw up. I'm going to do the two baby gates today until I can get to the X-pen place.
Yeah!!!

Jag
I wish you luck...although I am no "boy expert" you need to get him one of those belly band things, that will stop some of the inside pee issues, I think.

Ok update.

Miss Mam still poops in her crate, still is moving the pee pads aside and doing everything on the FLOOR.

I am still coming home to the grand mess. She is still hollering and whinning and that is about it.

I'll never forget when Lucy was little. I used to keep her in a baby's playpen when I went to work. I came home one day and she met me at the door! She was SO happy with herself because she'd "escaped"!

I had the same thing happen when Rebel was a puppy - he also escaped. (I think Lucy encouraged him)

After that, they both spent the days in an x-pen for a while, but after I moved into this house and put down laminate floors - they have the run of the front part of the house during the day. They both use peepee pads, but Rebel has a problem hitting his mark sometimes.

He backs around in a circle when he poops and sometimes I think he makes himself dizzy because he misses the pad by an INCH!

Gotta love those yorkies!

By the way, Miss Maya is at the groomer for the first time., and I am amazed at how quiet and peaceful the house is. I feel like a patent getting a BREAK.

That face looks like trouble to me (just like my Conner). When Conner was a puppy, we kept him in a baby playpen. When my sister came to feed him lunch, Conner met her at the door. We were scratching our heads as to what to do with him during the day while we were at work (he would eat furniture). My sister had a very large cage (for a black lab). We put Conner in there with his toys, bed, food, water and pee pee pads (he now goes outside, so no more pee pee pads). Now he loves his cage. He goes in there sometimes just to take a nap (I leave the door open when we are home).

Conner is still trouble, but at least he does all his business outside, but it took until he was 9 months old.

Conner would also wake my husband up about 2:30 a.m. by kissing his face. That meant he had to go potty. He would wake me up at 4:30 a.m. and want to play. Like a fool, I would get up and play with him, he would go back to sleep and I had to go to work.

When I want to get another puppy, my husband reminds me of those days. It cures me for a few months, then I start thinking again.

OMG I hope there is HOPE!!!!! I am insane with this peeing and pooing in the house and thinking that going outside is playtime.....

It is insane.

My Husband is Disabled and he is in charge of walking the dogs but he needs constant reminders and today I was gone all day and I had to put a Belly Band on Cooper because he would not remember to take him out. Cooper doesn't ask yet to go out. Our old dog does but today she didn't and I came home to puddles on the rug... UUUUGGG... Talk about frustrating...
But I think I am more frustrated with my DH....LOL Oh well...

I just hope Cooper gets it pretty soon or my family is treatening

It is them or the Dog....
