I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Probably, being bad for isn't the same as poisonous. There are things in it like salt, onions, and fat that dogs should not have in large quantities, but a small amount will probably not be noticed. Get in the habit of never giving your dogs these types of processed people foods, there not very good for us, but since small dogs can't have very many calories a day, there really bad for them.

| http://onibasu.com/archives/kn/126359.html Most websites state that the whole avocado is toxic, but others state that only the skin, pit, and leaves are toxic to dogs and cats whereas the fruit is only toxic to birds... You might call your vet to see what they think. There are several dog foods that contain avocado...

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I didn't realize the avocado was what you were concerned about; it's probably the best of all the things you gave her. The chip itself isn't good and neither are any of the things that make up the dip. Avocadoes aren't recommended because they are so high in fat.

| Your dog is going to be fine with it... It was a tiny bit. However, It is very important to know what is bad foods for dogs. Chocolate, onions, greasy fatty foods, and the list goes on. Be aware and on the cautious side , is better to be.
