Can you tell me about the yorkie you have rescued?

I might possibly be able to help if someone can bring the dog to Dawsonville this Sunday. Dawsonville is 50 miles from Atlanta.

All I know is that she is about 2 years old, and that she has some unidentified health problems for which the shelter had planned to euthanize her. I've never seen her, so I don't know more. We are hoping to get her on her way to NC early on Saturday, so that I can pick her up that afternoon. So we hope she will be way past Dawsonville by Sunday. But if that doesn't work out, I'll definitely keep your offer in mind. I know just where Dawsonville is. I used to live in Albany, Georgia, (they say it "All-benny") near the Ala, Ga, Fla border. I do have to say.............. your part of the state is MUCH prettier!

I don't live in Dawsonville, although I have to agree it is very pretty up in that area. If I win the lottery I am going to buy a retirement house on a mountain near there I live in Greenville and will be spending the weekend in Dawsonville.

Thanks to all who offered to help get this baby to Greensboro. I wanted to let you know that the Yorkie-gods have smiled on us!! We got an offer from a person who is transporting a bulldog, and she is driving the whole way from Atlanta to Charlotte, so she will bring the Yorkie along the whole way!! I am shocked/thrilled that we got an offer like that, and I have spoken with her to verify that she will do the whole thing. So we are set!!
