Welcome back, now sit, stay. Ha ha. We're dying to see pics of your little furball! What's his name? I just got my first yorkie at the end of February and have fallen deeply in love with him so I can identify with what you are experiencing right now!

Post some pics soon!! My Darla was easy to potty train. She scratches the door when she has to go! lol!! But sometimes she uses her pee-pee pads. I was scared to get Darla because of all of the things i've read about Yorkies too. But I went ahead and got her, I'm so glad. I'm just in love with her!!!

T Doll - it wasn't me looking for a Shih-tzu. When I backed out on getting a Yorkie last summer, I put my deposit down on a Rottweiler puppy (I know, huge difference - but I love Rottweilers too and have owned them before). When the litter was born, there were no females, so I didn't buy a pup. I couldn't get the Yorkies out of my mind, and kept lurking here, and finally took the plunge last week.

Patti -- I appreciate your offer and may take you up on it if DH can't help me post some pictures. I have never gotten the hang of posting pictures but he usually can figure it out.

Kathi -- Thanks for the friends request. I hope I did it right. I live north of Pauls Valley, out in the country by the lake. I'm glad to see so many people from OK here now.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I just love Yorkietalk. This is where I learned of Glenda, and first saw pictures of her dogs. She was tough to deal with. I had a very difficult time convincing her I wasn't a breeder, because I was looking for a HEALTHY, quality dog and I asked her so many questions. I'm not sure she is convinced yet as she wouldn't give me Mojo's papers until he is neutered (two months from now). I guess that is a good thing as OK is notorious for it's puppy mills, being such a rural state.

Mojo has been very easy to potty train. I am amazed after all the horror stories I'd read about some yorkies taking a year to potty train. In one week's time, we have already taught him to sit, to go down on command, shake hands, fetch anything and everything, and potty outside. Plus he is now flying up and down his doggy stairs, which was a challenge at first. He is a very smart little puppy and we're enjoying him so much! I look forward to teaching him some cool tricks but first I am working on basic obedience.

I do also have to admit all the problems with yorkies on here scared me too but my breeder helped by explaining with any breed there are health issues to worry about and since I got my little Kingston on the first he has been amazing only 2 accidents so far and sleeps right threw the night at 14 weeks he is so smart.... Congrates on your little man and may he have many years of health
