I really dislike calling someone a "troll" and I think that is extremely rude. I understand the concept as it applies to internet forums but I do not like it and I really wish we were above that here.

Here is Marc O's last post on that recent thread he started and which I think is indicative of the way he felt he was treated:

I came here to get some opinions of what people think of mixing breeds and am quite satisfited getting them unfortunately somepeople started to make accusations so I defend myself after wards. that's it. Thank's anyways people.

All of you out there thanks allot for your responces it was really apreciated I simply wanted to know if the majority does not mind between mixes or prefers pure bred dogs only. I go tmy answer. And I thank Yorkie Talk for this. Unfortunately this isn't the place for me and I will unsubscribe as a member. Too many bad people. I have been on many forums before but the people where honest and did not judge. I came here before a while ago and same thing hapenned except everythign got settled. Thanks anyway.

Obviously he said something rude in the mixed breed post because his post was edited by Junebug.

I couldn't agree more. Breeding THAT many dogs is a big NO NO for me.

He wasn't the victim or mistreated. His poor dogs are the victims. He knew he started controversy and it got too hot for him to stick around. Yes troll is an internet term, but I didn't know we had to check with each other before using an adjective, just incase some didn't LIKE IT. We don't support puppy mills or their breeders and they have no place here, like Jess mentioned. But it's not the first time that a puppy has been mistaken for a nice reputable breeder because they were NICE or their website/contracts SEEMED legit. I just thought we'd come further than that. That we would recognize a troll and mill breeder when we saw one.

I just read some of the posts on the thread you're refering to.
sorry, but it stuck out a mile that he/she was going and going until someone had to finally bite, this seemed the purpose of the thread, and then when they got what they want.... play the victim and say you're all bad and i'm leaving!
people on YT are passionate about their dogs and if you post and dont expect to get some passionate answers back then you shouldnt use a forum. If i were that convinced with something i was doing, it wouldnt bother me what others thought, i wouldnt need to seek approval and then become upset if i didnt get it. jmoi

A troll is someone that just comes to a forum to cause trouble.

DO NOT even think about mis-quoting me and putting words in MY MOUTH. If you go back and re-read this post you will see I said I "THOUGHT" he was a troll untill I read over his previous posts and saw that he posted other things as well as his 'bait' posts. And IMO the posts listed on this thread WERE bait posts, intended to stir up some controversy. As Buddy posted, he wasn't going to stop until someone posted something contradictory to what he was.

I did not quote you, I did not try to quote you, I did not misquote you and I did not put words in your mouth.I didn't even use your name or anything so I have no idea where you think I did. You did USE the word Troll but my reference was not with respect to what you said, it was the use of the word in several posts.

I was merely referring to the fact that I dislike calling people names no matter what the context or where you are. I especially think whoever thought up the name TROLL for this particular type of individual was cruel and childish.

That's all. Just my opinion. I think YT is above this.

i think that this thread needs to be locked........ someone asked an opinion of the website for royal puppies, they did not ask for all this other stuff..... like or not royal IS a member of our forum and we need to be repectful of ALL member lest someone get suspended or (god forbid) banned, and i would hate to see this happen to anyone on account of a silly debate like this
Members who have read the thread in question have allready formed their opinions and if you had anything else to say about royal the person then it could have been done via pm or e-mail, it did not need to be on the board for all to see
