| The Yoranian/ Yorky Pom This is what my Bella is and well even though most people look at her and ask if she is a Yorkie,I feel like I always have to explin to them thet she is a mix breed.I have looked up this breed of dog and well they too are as pricey as the Yorkies.Just according to where you get them. just a tid-bit of informationabout my little baby. The Yoranian, also called a Yorky Pom, is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Pomeranian and the Yorkshire Terrier. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. This hybrid cross is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses. |

| I've never seen a Yoranian. Do you have any good pics of her?

| We had a pom for 13 years and would have gotten another one except for the incessant shedding. I swear he shed when he was sitting still. But he will always be the #1 dog in my heart. I wouldn't bother telling people what you have if it aggravates you. Just tell them it is the love of your life. |

| wow Lynn,I did not know that poms shed that much,She rarely does the most I have noticed was when she was in heat, but other than that a good brushing a day and maybe a fingertip full of hair is all. |

| Sookie,I have a few in my album,She is never still enough to really get a good one of her.But she has ths hair like a yorkie and the attitude of one too,She was slick haired when we got her as a baby ,but now her hair is silky, but course.Does that make sence? She has the dew claws on her back feet and she was Black with only the white on her chest but now she is turning silver on top and down the middle of her back and some of the tan coloring is starting to shine thru. When do Yorkies get there final coloring.I know that they change for a while.I will upload some more pictures when I figure out how to down size them |

| I have also seen these dogs called Porkies. Sounds like she got the good non-shedding genes of yorkies. It is so amazing to me that Baxter doesn't shed. With the pom we always had to have those roller things for our clothes. |

| Great to finally see another like ours, and so pretty. Our Toby is a Yoranian also. He was a dark brown and black when we got him at 7 weeks (a rescue dog). His hair grows like crazy and he will grow the long coat of a yorkie, but has the poofy pom tail. We are so thankful that he doesn't shed. Even though he is extremely smart, good natured and sociable, he suffers terribly from Little Dog Syndrome and has no fear. |

| I have a white Pommie and white hair everywhere despite a brushing every night. It's amazing that you can cross these two darling breeds and come out with a non-shedding puppy. All your babies are adorable!!!!

| Verrrry Cute!!!!! All your yoranians are soooooo cute!!!!!! I have a pom and a yorkie (and a jack russell) So weird, I think some poms shed and some dont. My pom (Kaylee) never sheds but my best friend has a pom and she sheds like crazy. The funny thing is that both my pom and my friends pom have the same dad!!!. Its interesting to see the mix between the 2 breeds (very cute!) Ive always wondered what they would look like. Thanks for sharing!!!! Love, Jenn, Buddee, Kaylee, & Chloe |
