| i dont think this has to do with size, its just the dog.. pebbles has slept through the night since she was 8 weeks and she is now 3lbs at 8 months.. so i think it just depends |

| Well, I can't remember if you mentioned her age, but maybe her bladder hasn't matured and is still too small?? Just a guess though... As for her biting her feet - I went through this with Deegan last year, he was constantly biting at his feet. Brought him to the vet and they said it was allergies, and gave me an oil type ointment to put on his feet a couple times a day and it helped tremendously. They must have went away though because he hasn't been itching or scratching at all this year, which the vet thought was weird because she said allergies were really bad this year... but I'm not questioning it. See if the vet has something you can use for her - just try to stay away from cortesone shots.

| thanks so much for all the helpful advice. I think the person that suggested that DaisyLove may just be in the "habit" of going outside in the middle of the night may be on to something.... I am starting tonight to try to break the "habit". As for the allergies - itching and biting her feet.... I can certainly try changing her food.... but after 2 yrs of eating the same thing, can allergies just pop up like that and it be her food? The vet did suggest giving her childrens Benydrl - but I just didn't like that at all. Thanks again for the helpful advice...it certainly gives me ideas and a starting point as I have been very puzzled not knowing what it could be or what to do. Daisy thanks you too.... arf - arf !!! |

YT 2000 Club Member | My Jeter is 10 months old and is 2 pounds 8 ounces, he sleeps all night long after going outside at 10 pm. He gets up at 7:30 and i take him out then. About the itching, it could be allergies to the food or even products that you bath her in or how often you bath her. Jeter had itch problems that were not flea related, his vet told me to stop bathing him so often so I did and i also use an oatmeal shampoo now and he stopped. His food was not the cause, he is on a good puppy food, Merrick's Puppy plate

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I don't want to be mean but Ceasers is HORRIBLE! I heard it's like feeding Mcdonalds everyday Please do a search on good human grade foods, it's especially bad for tinies. There's many great 5 star foods you can feed instead of those. It is most likely that making her itch.
