| We got Copper at 10 1/2 weeks only because he was starting to be picked on a little by a littermate. That same littermate was also picking on his super tiny sister. We went to look at him and took him home the same day. He was so little for the fist few months that I was a nervous wreck over everthing. He has ajusted fine. I would definately have waited till 12 weeks if it werent for the "bully pup." haha The breeder held on to his little sister till she was atleast 14 weeks.

| I got Otis at ALMOST 8 weeks! This was before I knew what I know now. Luckily, he was healthy and did just fine. He's a bigger boy too. I got ollie at 12 weeks and he was pretty big too.

| Tetley's breeder doesn't let her pups go before 14 weeks, so that's how old he was when I got to bring him home. It was the best Christmas ever |

| My puppy was a few days from being 8 weeks. My breeder called me and said that the pups vet said that she was all clear to come to her new home due to the fact that she was doing so well. Other breeders that I was considering purchasing from did tell me I would have to wait 12 weeks but most said just 8. |

| Gracie was 8 weeks, Holly was 12 weeks. Gracie was much easier to potty train but had biting issues when she was tiny. Holly did not have any biting problems at all but potty training has been a huge challenge. If I had it to do over again, I think I might opt for 10 weeks.

| I got Oscar at 12 weeks. He was a big boy ... right at 3 lbs. Still, I think I would have been too nervous to get him any earlier. Plus, the breeder had time to socialize him well, and did a fantastic job ... he was routinely exposed to other animals, adults, noisy kids, and she was able to introduce him to the "real world" in general before letting him go. I swear a bomb could go off right next to him, and he wouldn't flinch. Not an ounce of fear in his little body. |

| I got Captain Jack at 7 weeks, but he didn't come from a breeder(he was a "happy accident") and he was much better off with me. The lady he came from didn't know anything about puppies so at 7 weeks he was covered in fleas and had never been treated for worms! He has been a bit of a biter! Junie B came to us at 14 weeks... it seems to be taking her a little longer to bond with us, but I'm not sure if that is because of her age or if it is because she is too busy playing with Captain Jack! Captain Jack knew that I was his new mommy the first day, Junie B has been with us for a week and is just now getting adjusted. I think that 10-12 weeks would probably be a happy medium!

| OOOHHHHH!!! I forgot to add this..... Captain Jack never barks....Junie barks all the time!! I don't know if that is because he didn't have time to properly socialize with his littermates or if he's just not a barker!
