I got Oscar at 12 weeks. He was a big boy ... right at 3 lbs. Still, I think I would have been too nervous to get him any earlier. Plus, the breeder had time to socialize him well, and did a fantastic job ... he was routinely exposed to other animals, adults, noisy kids, and she was able to introduce him to the "real world" in general before letting him go. I swear a bomb could go off right next to him, and he wouldn't flinch. Not an ounce of fear in his little body. |
