Villette-You mean Cheri and Chanel aren't bridesmaids? LOL

I cannot believe that one website that was posted-sounds like she takes better care of her website than her dogs! That frustrates me!

I will look in our paper-there are always a couple of ads in there that read Yorkies, Maltese, Chiuauas, and lists like 10 different breeds of dogs. That's GOT to be a puppy mill.

Well here I am again. This past Sunday we went all the way to Navasota, TX to look for a female puppy. The web site, of course, was great. There was so many pretty babies on it that we just could not wait to get there. We were greeted in the front room with two pups in a playpen! They were cute...did not look like any of the pictures. We asked to see the others and have yet to see them!!! We asked to see the mom and dad and they were just pitiful little scrawny dogs. Started to leave then but my husband told her he wanted to see the kennel, to which she replied, "I don't let people go in my kennel due to germs"! "I guess you can look in the door" We said that would be fine. OMG!!!!!!! I have no idea how many adult puppies were caged up in this tiny room lined on both sides with cages. It was HOT AS H - - -!!!!!!! None were even decent looking adults!!! It was again so sad and pathetic and as usual I am sure it will remain that way cause I am convinced SPCA

and county sheriff's and police

and all just do not give a d - - -!!!!!

V, I just want to thank you again from Sir Pepper Ding-Bottom the 1st! For those who don't know, Pepper is the petstore puppy with the neurological disorder that is going to end his sweet life prematurely. Neither the petstore or the broker gave a damn when I informed them of his problems...why should they..they got paid! The petstore is "Pet Love"

in the Glendale Galleria and the the broker is the biggest in the country "Hunte Corp."

There is a puppy mill in Cookeville... I had a customer come in one day and tell me about them..
I had the number and the lady's name but I've lost it,
If that customer comes in again I will ask her for it... and I will either post it or PM it to you!

I don't have any stories because I have no experience in dealing with a puppymill. I just wanted to tell you good luck in putting this together. I don't think there is anyone on this site more dedicated to stopping puppymills than you. Good luck again!

Great Job! Mac & Mellie thank you. Anything we can do to help let us know. Mac didn't come from a petstore. He was a website/broker puppy (before I knew to do my research

) My vet bills were over $5000.00 before we had him a month.

Villette, Way to go. I got Gucci form a broker, which I find out when it was too late. I really didnt do my research before getting her, but I still love her. Gucci came to us with ringworm, which we notice a week after she was home. The broker refunded me $200, wish Im guess im lucky. I wanted to wish you luck. I know that the letter you write to ABC will be great and surely ABC will have a segment on the air. Once again good luck.

If you are looking for bad Petstore experiences there was one on here about 2 months ago...I don't know the name to search for, it was a guy and his girlfriend, they paid like 2500 on an installment plan for a puppy who got sick and they had a heartbreaking decision to make to return it...anyone else know what I am talking about?
