| Hello Hello! (Intro) Hey everybody! I figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself. My name's Kristin, and I'm from Oklahoma. I don't have a Yorkie, but and seriously considering changing that!! I have an 8 month old Maltese, Stanley, and he's my baby. He really needs a buddy. While I'm posting though, I may as well ask, would it matter so much if I got a male Yorkie with my male? Or should I go for a female? I really love having boys, but I want to make sure my babies will get along. I figured there was no better place to ask than here. Thanks for the nice welcome I've already gotten, without even posting!! I already like it here. |

| I first bought a male...and when he got about 5 months old I bought another male so he could have a playmate. They do love each other. Now, they do have their fights...but all I have to do is say, "that's enough!" and they stop. They'll be fine together. Wishing you well.

| Welcome to YT. I have two male dogs. A Yorkie & a Shih Tzu. They get along very well. They do have their moments but I'm thinking not anymore than a male & a female would. Nice to have you here.

| Welcome to YT! Lots of other YTers in Oklahoma - and I'm sure in Norman. I love and have one of each - but I do love the boys sweet spirit. I think 2 boys would be great together

I don't think it matters if you get a male or female. Good Luck. Welcome to YT, you will love it.

| Hi and welcome to YT!! I have two girls. They get along very well. They do have their moments too. I agree, I don't think it really matters if you get a male or female. Wishing you the best. Post pictures when you get your new baby.
