I didn't even open the Yorkie page, but you're right, it looks like some pictures were "doctored." Some of them don't even look like they've got the eyes on right. Not real pictures, I'm sure. Here's the Mom's Yorkie Page: YorkieMoms Notice Jazmine, and how they all have their tongue out. |
Oh my! The petition made it to 1000 signatures! I hope the petition can help change the judge's mind and the appeal is in favor of the pups! |

If I came across this website when looking for pups, I wouldn't even think she's selling pups. |

Absolutely!!!! You've got my support! |
1,073! That's how many signatures as of 11:40 CST! Any news on when the new court hearings take place or the next step in this Terrible Situation? :animal-pa |
I signed it too |
Wow!!!!! I'm so happy that there are so many signatures!! :D This just goes to show that this woman is dead wrong...of course we knew that! I wish we would hear some new news too. On that interview he said that the appeal could be as early as sometime this week. Lordy I hope so! I should be cleaning, but I keep coming back to check this thread to see if there's any new news. |
I signed it! People like that make my blood boil!! I wish I could get my hands on them and put them through the same torture those put those poor babies through!!! |
WOW!!!! Way more signatures than I thought!!! This is amazing!!! As for the pictures on that woman's website... she's giving me an idea. Instead of waiting to get a puppy, I might as well photoshop me a puppy. Hey if it worked for her right? Sarcasm aside, I hope we get some good news about this case soon. |
PLEASE HELP THE PUPPY MILL PUPPIES FL - we can't let them be returned!!! Speak up Florida! Another black mark is about to go down on our record for the court's ruling last week to return 60 of a 120 rescued dogs from a "puppy mill" run out of Teresita Hughes personal residence. These animals were kept 24x7x365 in wire cages; 6-8 per cage stacked one on top of another. Food and water were covered in feces as well as the animals themselves. Many had rotten teeth, broken bones, poor ventilation which caused lung, heart and other diseases, as well as loss of fur and the spirit to live. God only knows how many died before they could be rescued. But due to a cleverly hidden clause in a legal document enacted back in 1979 (boy wasn't the world a different place back then...) 1/2 of these dogs have been ordered to be returned to the "breeder." These rescued animals have been living in loving foster homes for over three months, receiving medical care, learning to be dogs and discovering human compassion. Now, why half returned? First, Teresita admits she couldn't handle the number she had - hmmmm, was that because she was caught? Bet if she hadn't of been, she wouldn't have surrendered ANY of them. She also realizes that over half of these animals are in such poor condition that they no longer can be bred (they would die if she tried). Here is the money grubbers dream come true chance to then ask for 1/2 back, the half that are healthy so she can continue perpetuating her crime. As a society we tolerate this? Some would argue these are just dogs - her property. I say if we view animals in this manner, where do we draw the line? If we can be compassionate to defenseless, voiceless animals, what pray tell would we do to help others? I think this situation is indicative of what our country is becoming - GREED. Money over everything and to hell with who gets hurt in the process. I for one can not even think about sleeping at night knowing that we've allowed these animals to go back to a lifestyle NOT ONE OF US would want for ourselves!!! Please write, petition, call the media, and tell everyone you know. The only way to make a change is to take an action and keep interest alive. Somewhere down the line as humans we need to take a stand or we might as well just let society run amuck. |

I really feel like they won't go back to her! That's what my gut is telling me. I pray for these little guys and girls every night. I think our prayers will be answered. |
Here is a link to stories from some of the foster parents of the dogs they are caring for. They seem to be thriving after being removed from horrible conditions. It makes me sick to think they can be returned back to live a life of suffering again. I'm sure these foster parents will do everything possible to prevent the return from happening. There's more info here about who will be receiving the petition, but no updates that I'm aware of. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...e-rescued.html |
I just read the link with the stories from the foster parents. Such wonderful things are happening with these furbabies. They should never be returned! |
